The general medicine and dermatology course for dental students is a one credit hour course over 14 weeks. It includes 14 lectures to cover important medical diseases affecting different body systems including mucocutaneous diseases of dental interest. The course is focused on the clinical presentation, lines of investigation and main treatment modalities of common medical conditions, particularly those of dental relevance (medical conditions that might affect oral health and/or necessitate modifications of dental treatment)
