Course Main Objective(s): Upon completion of this course the student should be able to: 1. Identify common diseases related to respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrinology, hematological, gastrointestinal and hepatic disease. 2. Discuss care of patients experiencing acute illnesses. 3. Explore theories of systems, ethics, and adaptations in the use of the nursing process 4. Exhibit collaboration with the healthcare team. 5. Perform advanced skills integral to nursing practice. 6.
