This course focuses on Embedded System design and firmware development. It outlines design methodologies and Microcontroller architecture. It covers embedded hardware components and standard Input/output protocols and Interfacing. The course covers both the embedded microcontrollers interfacing to peripherals and software configurations. It covers configuration and interfacing to standard embedded system peripherals and protocols such as GPIO, Timer, PWM, Interrupts, asynchronous and synchronous serial communication (UART, I2C, SPI), and ADC and sensors and actuators Interfacing.
