Course general DescriptionThis course will explore recent plant biotechnology developments and discoveries and their application for the beneficial of mankind and environment. It will concentrate in two main parts, basic principles and applications of plant tissue culture and recombinant gene technology and transformation. The course will also include challenges that face plant biotechnology from both sides ethically and regulatory in the Middle East and internationally.
