Department of Communication and Media

The Department of Communication and Media, part of the College of Arts and Humanities at Taibah University, was established by royal decree in 1429 AH. It initially offered a Bachelor’s Program in Journalism, later evolving to introduce the Bachelor’s Program in Digital Media to align with the digital transformation, labor market demands, and Saudi Vision 2030.
The department aims to prepare qualified media professionals with both theoretical and practical competencies in various digital media fields, including digital content creation, data journalism, audiovisual production, and digital marketing. Through its modern educational framework, advanced studios and labs, and practical training programs, the department strives to graduate skilled media specialists capable of excelling in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape both locally and regionally.
