About the Department:


The Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Taibah University is a core academic and clinical department that contributes to achieving the educational, clinical, and research missions of the College and the University. The department works collaboratively with other academic departments, health colleges, and the University Medical Center to ensure integrated and high-quality medical education and patient care.
The department is staffed by qualified faculty members with diverse subspecialties and recognized local and international experience. Faculty members are actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical supervision, curriculum development, and assessment, in accordance with approved academic standards and accreditation requirements.
The Department of Internal Medicine plays a key role in medical education by delivering structured teaching and clinical training programs that aim to enhance students’ knowledge, clinical skills, professionalism, and ethical practice. These programs are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure alignment with national and international accreditation standards and best practices in medical education.
