What are the channels of communication with customer service in the Deanship of Information Technology and Digital Transformation? ​​

There are four channels:

  •  Call the unified extension (8880).   
  • Communicate via e-mail: (Male) helpdesk@taibahu.edu.sa / (Female) helpdesk.f@taibahu.edu.sa.
  •  Through the reporting system through the university's electronic portal.
  •  Personal attendance of the customer service desk.

What is the method of requesting the text messaging service?

  • Fill out the text messages form:
    By entering the university's website and choosing the university sectors tab, entering the deanships and choosing the Deanship of Information Technology, entering the regulations, guides and forms, then choosing to request text messages, in addition to sending a letter after stamping it from the vice dean or director of the administration to the entity to do the necessary.
  •  Submit an electronic communication with the attachment of the letter after stamping it from the deputy or director of the department of the entity to do the necessary.

New employee and I want to create an email?

 ​​​​​​Data is required to be updated from personnel affairs, and the data will be sent to IT and account creation automatically and an SMS message will be sent to the employee with the username and password.

 

Does the password for the username of the email have an expiration date?

Yes, it has an expiration date, so it is preferable for the customer to change it periodically, as reminders are sent to the employee before their expiry
 

Is the password for email and username for the network standardized?

Yes, when you change one of them, the change in the other is done automatically.
 

What is the method of recovering the password for email and network for employees and faculty members?

  • Through a computer connected to the university network by clicking on. DELETE+CTRL+ALT shows the option to change password for email and network.
  • Through the university website - icon (staff / faculty members) - more services - password recovery service for mail and network.
  • Login from the university website - the internal portal - support and assistance - password recovery service for mail and network.
  •  In the event that the employee wishes to change the password, he can access the e-mail - My Account - Privacy and Security - Change the password.

Can't I log in on the supply chain system?

It is possible to request a password recovery or a report can be submitted on the Daem platform in order to provide the necessary support​​​​​​​​

 

The supply chain system does not work where the absence of running programs appears?

It is possible to install the required programs by requesting support on a supportive system in order to install the programs required by the competent department​​​​​​​​

 

Don't know how to use the system?

You can raise a training request on a supportive system in order to conduct training on the system and know how to use it
