This program focuses on applying Information Technology (IT) to solve managerial problems and support the decision-making process within organizations, by combining knowledge in the fields of business and technology management. Graduates acquire essential skills in: data analysis, database design, technical project management, information security, systems analysis and design, and decision-making support software.
Program Mission
To prepare and qualify specialists in Management Information Systems (MIS) who possess the knowledge and skills required by the job market, through student-centered learning and the provision of research and research projects to serve the community.
Program Objectives
Enable students to master the theoretical and practical foundations of Management Information Systems.
Support the research environment, promote a culture of autonomy and innovation, and organize research projects for students and faculty members.
Build community partnerships and contribute to providing services in consulting and training fields.
Develop students' skills in the areas of professional responsibility and collaborative academic work.
Candidate Selection: The selection process among candidates is based on the results of the General Aptitude Test (Qudrat) and the Achievement Test (Tahseeli), or their equivalents, in addition to the High School GPA.
Validity Period: The validity of the Aptitude and Achievement test scores is determined by the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) under the Ministry of Education.
Weighted Ratio: Comparison between male and female students is based on the weighted percentage distributed as follows:
The minimum weighted binary ratio for admission into Administrative, Arts, Humanities, and Applied colleges is 70% for male students.
The weighted triple ratio is 70% for female students at the university level.
Selection Announcement: Candidates are announced through the electronic admission portal by ranking applicants based on the declared admission criteria, order of preferences, availability of seats, college-specific admission conditions, and the university’s overall capacity.

Systems Analyst
A Systems Analyst is an Information Systems specialist who performs several tasks in information systems development, including researching problems, planning appropriate solutions, selecting the suitable software or system to solve these problems, and coordinating the software development process to meet business needs. They study the system's requirements, inputs, and outputs, as well as define the necessary resources for its implementation, in addition to clarifying the execution process, explaining the workflow dynamics, and organizing the various relationships between the objects within the system.
IT Manager
An IT Manager is one of the personnel working in a company or organization who is responsible for two main divisions related to information systems: the first division is dedicated to monitoring networks and servers, and maintaining computer hardware and peripherals; the second division is responsible for programming, software development, and support. Therefore, the Information Systems Manager must understand this and assign specific tasks and personnel responsible for each division.
Business Analyst
A Business Analyst is the person who acts as a liaison among stakeholders to (elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements) for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
Business Development Manager
A Business Development Manager is the person concerned with developing and expanding the scope of business in the company through the use of modern technologies and defining responsibilities aimed at gaining new customers and penetrating existing markets by employing information gathering and knowledge acquisition methods.
Customer Service Manager
A Customer Service Manager is the person entrusted with overseeing how services are delivered to customers to satisfy their desires, maintain the confidentiality of their information, resolve their problems, and supervise the training of customer service staff on how to provide those services.
DB Manager
A Database Manager (or Administrator) is the person responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring, and maintaining databases within an organization. Their job includes developing and designing database strategies, monitoring system status, developing database performance and capacity, in addition to planning for any future expansion requests.
System Administrator
A System Administrator is the person responsible for managing the network, installing, updating, and removing software, installing updates for operating systems and main network programs, installing hardware such as printers, modems, routers, and firewalls, monitoring user performance, and distributing permissions.
Network Administrator
A Network Administrator is the person responsible for installing, maintaining, and updating software and hardware on the network. They monitor and develop the network (hardware and software) and users, resolve network-related issues, perform daily backups, install updates, and evaluate and implement network management software.
