About the Department

The Department of Languages and Translation is one of the main academic departments within the College of Arts and Humanities at Taibah University. It is dedicated to preparing specialists in English language and translation who are equipped to meet labour market needs in education, translation, tourism, media, public relations, and both public and private sectors.

The Department focuses on developing students’ linguistic, translation, and cultural competencies, enabling them to communicate effectively with the world, serve the community, and support sectors that require qualified professionals in English language and translation.
