The Department of Geology at the College of Science, Taibah University, is one of the prominent academic departments contributing to the development of specialized scientific cadres in the field of Earth Sciences. The department began its academic journey as a branch under the Department of Biology, but it later evolved into an independent department based on the decision No. (7807) issued on 12/11/1431 AH, to meet the needs of scientific development and the increasing demand for specialists in geology.
The department offers a Bachelor's degree in Science with a specialization in Geology, and its goal is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of Earth Sciences and advanced scientific applications.
