We aim to explore pharmaceutical and nutraceutical toxicity mechanisms using various tools and techniques. Our research focuses on a) investigating natural products’ relation contribution in modulating the metabolism and, subsequently, toxicity of both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical-induced free radicals, b) exploring the role of peroxidase-derived reactive metabolites in clinical adverse drug reactions, and c) understanding the effect of antioxidant/peroxidase enzymes on sensitizing cancer cells to chemotherapy
