University Student Transportation Service

Taibah University provides a dedicated transportation service to ensure safe and comfortable travel for students to and from the University and its affiliated colleges. This service is designed to ease commuting, especially for those living far from campus, while helping reduce traffic congestion and student expenses. It contributes significantly to improving the quality of campus life by offering efficient and reliable transportation, thereby providing a more stable and comfortable academic environment for both students and faculty members.


How to Access the Service

  • The service is free of charge and available to all female students of the University, in addition to international scholarship students.

  • Registration to benefit from the service is through the Khedmatak platform.

  • Students must board from the designated bus gathering points according to the published schedule, and present their University ID card to the driver or transportation supervisor on site.


Operational Transportation Plan – Academic Year 1447 AH

Shuttle Buses in Madinah and Sub-centers

  • Dormitory, College of Medicine & Nursing, Main Campus, and International Student Dorms: Regular shuttle services every 30–60 minutes starting from 7:00 AM.

  • On-campus shuttle routes: Continuous trips inside the main campus beginning at 8:30 AM, operating every 30 minutes.

1. Buses from Southern Governorates and Centers

Routes cover Abar Al-Mashi, Wadi Reem, Al-Yatima, and Wadi Al-Far’, with gathering points such as mosques and health centers.

  • Departure: 6:00 AM.

  • Return: 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:30 PM.

2. Buses from Eastern Governorates and Centers

Routes include Al-Radhaya, Al-Suwaidra, Al-Shaqra, Al-Hanakiyah, and Al-Nakheel.

  • Departure: 5:30–6:00 AM.

  • Return: Hourly trips starting 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

3. Buses from Northern Governorates and Centers
  • Shajwa and Khaybar.

  • Departure: 5:30–6:00 AM.

  • Return: 4:30 PM.

4. Buses from Western Governorates and Centers
  • Al-Musayjid and Al-Furaish.

  • Departure: 6:00 AM.

  • Return: 4:30 PM.

5. Buses from Main Campus to Branches (Hanakiyah, Khaybar, Badr)
  • Departure from Al-Salam Campus at 5:30 AM.

  • Return trips start from 12:00 PM onwards.


Buses Serving University Branches

  1. Yanbu Branch

    Routes cover Al-Ayss, Rakho, Yanbu Al-Nakhl, Al-Jabriya, Talat Naza, Al-Nabah, Al-Najf, Student Dorms, and Abu Shakir. All depart at 6:00 AM.

  2. Khaybar Branch

    Routes cover Al-Lahan, Al-Salsala, Al-Ishash, Al-‘Ara’id, and Ath-Thamad. All depart at 6:00 AM. A shuttle also operates between the old and new college buildings from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

  3. Al-Ula Branch

    Routes include Mughairah, Al-‘Adheeb, Al-Hijr, Tharbah, Shallal, Fadla, Al-Jadidah, Abu Khurait, and Abu Zuraib. All depart at 6:00 AM.

  4. Mahd Al-Dhahab Branch

             Routes include As-Suwairiqiyah, As-Sa’biyah, Al-‘Amq, Al-Qui’iyah, Al-Muwaihiya, and As-Salhaniyah, all departing at 6:00 AM.


Transportation Instructions

  • Adhere strictly to the published shuttle schedules.

  • Ensure personal belongings are collected before leaving the bus.

  • Follow all safety regulations and traffic rules.

  • Remain in the assigned seat throughout the trip.

  • Shuttle service ends daily at 5:25 PM.
