This work represents a serious scholarly endeavor through which the researcher sought to offer an important academic contribution to the historical library by reconstructing the content of the lost book Akhbār al-Madīnah, authored by Abū Ghassān Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā al-Madani. This book is regarded as one of the earliest foundational texts that shaped the historiographical tradition of the Prophet’s City. Its author was among the distinguished scholars of Madinah in the second Islamic century and one of the earliest historians to document its legacy. He shares with Ibn Zabālah the honor of pioneering this field—yet surpasses him in reliability as a transmitter of ḥadīth and historical reports.
The researcher’s contribution is evident in his meticulous effort to collect the surviving texts of this lost book from a wide range of historical sources, reorganize and classify them into coherent chapters, and verify the material in accordance with established scholarly methods. Alongside this, the work includes a rigorous historical study introducing the author Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā al-Madani, clarifying his historiographical approach, and highlighting the methodology he employed in compiling the material of this book

This book presents a concise overview of the historical, geographical, and geological aspects of AlUla — the Kingdom’s capital of tourism and antiquities. It also explores the region’s vegetation through detailed descriptions of fifty-three species of wild plants commonly found throughout AlUla. The research extended over four years, during which most of the region’s valleys were visited, and the various plant types documented.
For each plant species, the authors have chosen to focus on specific elements, including: the scientific and Arabic names, visible diagnostic characteristics, flowering period, habitat, distribution globally and within the Kingdom, local and international uses, relevant previous scientific studies (where available), and additional notes related to local heritage where applicable.
The plants are arranged alphabetically according to their family names in English, while genera within each family are organized alphabetically by their Latin names. The second and third authors, with the assistance of Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, photographed the specimens in their natural environments, and no plant was included unless it had been observed, recorded, and photographed directly.

This book aims to provide valuable information on the importance of nutritional guidance and education, and how to acquire simple and accessible nutritional knowledge through health and nutrition awareness channels. It further seeks to highlight the qualities of an effective nutrition guide and the methods through which nutritional information can be conveyed to individuals and communities using available means of communication, in addition to examining the local community and its available resources.
The author asserts that the nutrition guide, within the scope of their specialization, is responsible for determining how nutritional knowledge is communicated and applied through well-structured dietary programs that are simple to implement, while taking into account the customs and traditions of the community.
By exploring extension communication tools, the book presents the components, channels, and methods of communication relevant to nutritional awareness. It also outlines how to organize the work of extension communication units, which play a fundamental role in achieving nutritional guidance and education for both individuals and society.

It is well known that the science of ḥadīth differs from the discipline of history in both subject and methodology. However, there exists a significant field of overlap and similarity that brings the two sciences together. Building upon this common ground, this book adopts a comparative analytical approach to examine the principles of criticism employed in ḥadīth methodology and those applied in historical research—beginning with the process of collecting texts and documents and concluding with their evaluation at the levels of source and content. The aim is to identify points of similarity and difference, as well as the areas of strength that distinguish one method from the other.
In addition, the book offers a methodological perspective on how the principles of ḥadīth scholarship—and the rich technical terminology it encompasses—may be effectively utilized within the field of historical research. Such integration seeks to refine historical investigative tools and address certain gaps found within existing methodological frameworks.

This book focuses on orthography, punctuation, and various forms of functional and creative writing. The authors deliberately set aside areas of disagreement in spelling conventions and limited themselves to presenting a single approach—the simplest and most consistent—recognizing that most students find it difficult to master divergent forms, which may distract them from more essential aspects of writing.
The authors further note that certain fine distinctions hold little practical value and that it is more beneficial for students to concentrate on commonly used forms, which they need most in academic and professional writing. As for other, more technical variations, they are best left to specialists in the field.

Serious nations invest considerable effort into educating their populations in information culture and skills—commonly referred to as information literacy. However, promoting such literacy requires a sound understanding of several interconnected issues. Among the key questions addressed in this book are: What is information literacy? Why do we need it? Where did the concept originate, and how did it develop? What are its significance and objectives? What qualities characterize an information-literate individual? What standards are used to measure a person’s level of information literacy? And what roles do information and library professionals play in fostering it?
The book concludes with a detailed presentation of leading international experiences and models in the development of information literacy.

The book Al-Rawḍah al-Firdawsiyyah wa al-Ḥaḍrah al-Qudusiyyah falls within the broader body of works that document the history of al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah. It records the names of those buried in the most sacred of places—the Prophet’s Mosque and the grounds of al-Baqī‘—including the earliest of the believers, martyrs, and the righteous. It may therefore be classified among the historical sources of the Prophetic biography. The work is structured into five chapters.
The first chapter is dedicated to the visitation of the grave of the Prophet ﷺ, the graves of his two Companions Abū Bakr and ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and the graves of his family members and relatives in al-Baqī‘, as well as the martyrs of Uḥud. The second chapter discusses the Noble Prophet ﷺ, listing his forefathers, children, daughters, wives, freed persons, and close relatives, along with the Rightly Guided Caliphs. The third chapter presents the major events that led to the death of many of the virtuous inhabitants of Madinah, such as the Battle of Uḥud, the Battle of the Trench, and the incident of al-Ḥarrah.
The fourth chapter documents well-known Companions, arranged alphabetically, while the fifth chapter includes scholars and righteous individuals who passed away in Madinah but were not from the generation of the Companions.

The work environment in any sector of the state carries its own dynamics, components, challenges, and complexities. The educational environment is no exception—indeed, it exists to serve one of the most vital segments of society: students, who represent the foundation and future of the nation. There is no doubt that the teaching profession, embodied in the role of the teacher, stands at the front lines of shaping generations. It is considered one of the most demanding professions, and in some countries, one of the most highly valued and compensated, due to its significance and the diverse roles it requires—administrative, cognitive, and humanitarian—toward school-aged learners.
Achieving success in this profession requires multiple skills, among the most important of which is the ability to solve problems related to the educational process. This book represents an effort by the author to present a structured approach that helps teachers address various challenges scientifically and methodically. Action research is a scientific methodology that can benefit employees across all professional sectors; however, this book focuses specifically on how it may be applied within the educational context.
The book is divided into a theoretical section and a practical section, providing teachers with a clear starting point for solving the difficulties they encounter in their teaching practice.
