The various pharmacological activities of natural polysaccharides have led to their extensive exploitation. Pharmaceutical and biomedical fields, including vaccine development, tissue engineering, and drug releases, have widely applied these compounds. My main field of expertise is polysaccharide and bioactive compound extraction from various resources using different analytical and biophysical techniques. I also study the physico-chemical properties and biological activities of natural products using different spectroscopic techniques, mostly NMR, FTIR, and MS. In addition, I possess expertise in the pharmacological properties of natural compounds, including antioxidants, in vitro and in vivo anticoagulants, anticancer, antidiabetic, and anticholinesterase activities... Additionally, I’m working on the biomaterial application of natural polysaccharides for vascular tissue engineering.
