About the Program

The Preparatory Year Program for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students is an educational program designed to prepare students linguistically and academically in line with university education requirements and the approved study plans. The program aims to develop students’ linguistic, communication, and academic skills, and to enable their positive and flexible integration into the university environment, contributing to the development of their abilities and enhancing their readiness for the next academic stage.

The program consists of two semesters, with 18 credit units per semester, for a total of 36 credit units.
