Aiah Mustafa Sahat Khateb

Dr.Khateb is an expert in microbial pathogenesis and molecular detection, characterization and sequencing. she gained her experience at the Center of antimicrobial resistance laboratory Alberta Health Services/ Calgary Laboratory Services and clinical Mycology Reference Centre, Manchester. Currently she is the Saudi Ambassador for Global Action for Fungal Infections (GAFFI). Her research focuses on developing rapid diagnostic methods, identifying host susceptibility factors to fungal infections. She has been leading mycology research at the Special Infectious Agents Unit at King Fahd Medical Research Center to establish a reference laboratory to support fungal diagnosis. She concluded her research grant with a Q1 publication
