Taibah University Rector Launches "Student E-mail Service" Project
His Excellency Taibah University Rector Dr. Adnan Bin Abd Allah Al Mazrooa launched today, from His Excellency's office at the university, Student E-mail Service project for university students. His Excellency and University deputies reviewed a detailed explanation of the project advantages which IT deanship supervised its preparation and execution, which targets all college students of the university and its governorate branches.
IT dean Dr. Saad Bin Talal Al Harbi presented an explanation of main advantages, during project launch, which Student E-mail Service project provides to university students, showing that the project has been launched in the university with one of the best global companies (Microsoft). Furthermore, student e-mail includes various features which cope with rapid technological progress such as inbox theme customization service and its full compatibility with social networks through receiving messages from different networks in one location, in addition to high storage capacity allocated for each e-mail account which is up to 24 GB per student.
IT dean also presented his thanks to His Excellency University Rector for his support given to this project and his keen interest to finish it so as to serve University students, as well as highlighting the prominent role which former IT dean Dr. Mohamed Al Sareehi provided, in addition to the teamwork participating in student e-mail service project.
His Excellency University Rector urged the students during project launch to sign up e-mail accounts in University's unified network to make use of project advantages and to support the possibility of communicating with students in all educational and service related matters and awarding of monthly rewards, asking Almighty Allah that this work forms an effective service to University students, and also ensuring University Management's interest in reinforcing its pathway in relation to the conversion to electronic society and distinguished application of electronic transactions in all its transactions to save time and effort and to facilitate matters for the students and to support their educational requirements during their study at the University.
