Bassam Dhafer Safar Alshahrani

My current research focuses on critical care and emergency care, particularly the prevention of
pressure injury. This is a key challenge in healthcare, especially for patients in intensive care units. I
aim to explore the factors leading to pressure injuries and develop strategies for prevention to improve
patient care and reduce related complications in addition to using technological solutions to prevent
them. Through this work, I hope to enhance healthcare standards and reduce the burden on both
patients and healthcare systems.
