Jadeer Program for Gifted Students

Admission to the Jadeer Program is subject to meeting the relevant track requirements. Applicants are then ranked based on their admission score and the number of available seats.

Meeting the eligibility requirements or attending the interview does not guarantee final admission. It only qualifies the applicant to proceed to the competitive selection stage, with final admission determined by the ranking results and the number of available seats.

The weighted admission score for the Special Talent Tracks is calculated as follows:

30% high school GPA + 40% General Aptitude Test score + 10% Achievement Test score + 20% track assessment score.

A high talent assessment score alone does not guarantee admission. Applicants must also meet the minimum weighted admission score required for their chosen program, subject to the applicable selection criteria and the number of available seats.

Applicants who are not admitted to the Jadeer Program will still be considered for their other choices listed on the Unified Admission Platform.

Applicants who do not attend the interview will no longer be considered for admission to the Jadeer Program. However, they will remain eligible for consideration for their other registered program choices.

Participation alone, regardless of the number of activities, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements for the Special Talent Track. Applicants must meet all track requirements, including providing evidence of a documented talent or achievement, such as an award, research project, or other recognized accomplishment specified for the selected track.

A large number of activities and certificates does not necessarily result in a higher score. The assessment focuses on the quality and significance of the applicant’s achievements, the level of participation and the applicant’s role, their relevance to the selected track, the validity of the supporting evidence, and how effectively they are presented in the portfolio. A single high-quality, well-documented achievement may carry more weight than numerous general activities or certificates that do not demonstrate a distinctive talent or accomplishment.

An achievement portfolio is a collection of the applicant’s most notable accomplishments, work samples, and supporting evidence directly related to the selected track.

Activities, achievements, and portfolios completed within the two years preceding the application date are accepted, provided they are recent and supported by valid documentation.

The level of achievement is considered during the assessment process. A well-documented international achievement receives a higher assessment rating than a local achievement, in accordance with the approved criteria.

The track assessment score is determined according to the nature of each track. Some tracks are assessed based on the applicant’s achievements and the quality of the achievement portfolio, while others are assessed through a skills evaluation and portfolio review.

The achievement or portfolio must be directly relevant to the selected track. Submissions unrelated to the track will not be accepted.

The Special Talent Tracks are available only for selected university programs, and the available programs vary depending on the applicant’s chosen talent track. Medical programs are not included, so applicants should review the eligible programs for each track before applying.

Applicants to the Technology and Artificial Intelligence Talent Track may compete for selected programs offered by the College of Computer Science and Engineering and the College of Engineering, as listed in the Admission Guide.

Applicants may qualify for the Creativity Track in one of two ways: by passing the talent assessment administered by the college, or by holding a recognized national or international award relevant to the track. Therefore, an award is not required in all cases.

Applicants may qualify for the Quran and Sunnah Memorization Track by meeting either of the following requirements: memorizing the entire Holy Quran and holding a recognized ijazah, or winning or achieving a top placement in an accredited Quran or Sunnah competition.

Applicants to the Distinguished Athletes Track under the Jadeer Program must submit certificates or official letters issued by recognized sports federations or accredited sports organizations as evidence of their athletic distinction. They must also pass the required medical examination.

Applicants undergo a track-specific assessment, with the assessment score based entirely on the quality of the submitted athletic portfolio.

The admission score for the Dual Enrollment Program is calculated based on 50% of the General Aptitude Test score and 50% of the student’s cumulative GPA from the second year of secondary school. The final score must be at least 85%.

Joining the Dual Enrollment Program does not guarantee future admission to Taibah University. The program does not constitute final university admission, and students must apply through the University’s approved admission procedures and meet the applicable requirements.

Courses successfully completed through the Dual Enrollment Program may be credited if the student is later admitted to Taibah University. These courses cannot be credited by other universities.

A Dual Enrollment Program student will receive two additional points toward their weighted admission score when applying to Taibah University, provided that all registered courses are completed with scores above 90. This benefit does not apply to Medicine or Dentistry programs.

The two additional points do not guarantee admission to the student’s preferred program. They are added to the weighted admission score, after which applicants are competitively ranked based on their final score and the number of available seats.

Students enrolled in the Dual Enrollment Program do not receive a financial allowance during their participation in the program.

Classes in the Dual Enrollment Program are delivered online at scheduled times, while examinations are conducted in person according to the approved timetable.
