The President of Taibah University The Statement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is a Real Diagnosis of what the World Witnesses
His Highness the President of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa described the statement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud – may Allah protect Him – which he addressed to the two Arab and Muslim nations and International community last Friday that it was a real diagnosis of what the world witnesses today, displaying the reality with all its catastrophes and revealing an Islamic and human ardor towards the issue of Palestine and the issues of Islam and Muslims everywhere, representing the massive status held by our dear country among the world countries. Dr. Al Mazrooa said that the attitude of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was as usual obvious and clear, and it was an extension of his great attitudes in serving humanity. Hence, the increasing terrorism distorts the image of Islam was fought and eradicated by the tremendous efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He launched the initiative of establishing an international Center to fight terrorism in the international conference hosted by the Kingdom to fight terrorism in Riyadh on 25 of Dhil Hijjah 1325 A.H. with the participation of more than 50 Arab, Islamic, and foreign countries, in addition to a number of international, regional, and Arab organization. The Kingdom signed an agreement to establish it in 2011 with the United Nation. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz donated an amount of USD 100 million to activate the Center of the United Nation of Fighting Terrorism. All these efforts stresses the sagacious vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in facing those who attempt to ravish Islam and present it to the world as a religion of extremism, hatred, and terrorism.
Dr. Al Mazrooa affirmed that the statement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques came to hold responsible all those who became lax in undertaking their historical responsibilities against terrorism for the sake of temporary interests or suspicious schemes, warning them that they will be the first victims of this extremism and terrorism, stressing the responsibility to be undertaken by the leaders and scholars of the Islamic nation to confront this phenomenon and tackle it and to outline the right vision and Islamic approach for the public Muslims.
Dr. Al Mazrooa concluded his statement by supplicating to Allah, may He be Exalted to save the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and keep him as protection for Islam and Muslims and to keep the blessing of security and safety for our country.
