The President of Taibah University Congratulates the Admitted Students and Stresses..98% of them Are Graduated from the Secondary Schools of the Region
His Highness the President of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa congratulated the fresh male and female students of the university in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah and the University branches in Yanbu, Al Ola, Badr, Khaibar, Al Mahd, and Al Henakeyah. Dr. Al Mazrooa said that he was pleased in the name of the university employees of the academic and administrative cadre to welcome them, wishing them a scientific life that teems with success.
Dr. Al Mazrooa outlined that the university completed all preparations to receive them from the first academic day as all deanships and faculties are ready to implement the contact program to be held for one week starting from Sunday 5 Dhil Qe'dah. The program targets the admitted students who join the program of the preparatory year. As well, the admitted students who have no preparatory year, and the admitted students in the last year and completed the preparatory year program and they were admitted at their faculties.
Dr. Al Mazrooa stressed that the admission process was made by the favor of Allah smoothly in spite of the large number of female and male admitted students amounting to 77.278 male and female applicants, and more than 33.000 male and female students out of them were invited via the electronic website to deliver their documents via the Saudi Post during the registration period which extended for more than one month. Dr. Al Mazrooa added that the university announced the admission standards transparently as the admission was specified for the students through the balanced dual average of the general secondary ratio and capabilities test, and the triple average of female students. According to statistics, the graduates general secondary in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah amounted to nearly 12 thousand male and female students and it is the number that was taken into account by the university council to specify the number of admitted students this year. The University realized one of the three wishes of 91% of the total applicants, and the ratio of admitted female students in the scientific track amounted to 92% of the female applicants of the graduates of the scientific section of the general secondary as all applicants in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah were invited including those who have a balanced average of 73% or higher and all the female students in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah who have a balanced ratio of 79.5 and higher. As well, all the male and female applicants of the university branches in Al Ola governorate, Badr governorate, Khaibar governorate, Madh Al Dahab governorate, and Al Henakeyah governorate, and with a ratio of 100% as a final admission for all applicants. Dr. Al Mazrooa highlighted that the ratio of female and male ratio of the secondary graduates from Al Madinah Al Munawwarah amounted to 98%. Besides, the number of admitted female students from inside Al Madinah Al Munawwarah region in the preparatory program (scientific track) amounted to 92% of the admitted female students in the program, noting that majority of the admitted female students from outside Al Madinah Al Munawwarah region were graduated from the secondary schools in Tabuk, Amlaj, Al Wajh, and Taima.
