The American Consul visits Teebah University
His Highness the Manager of Teebah University Dr./ Adnan Ben AbdAllah alMazro', in his office in the University on Saturday, the twenty sixth of January, the General Consul of the United States of America in Jeddah, An Sarah Casper, and his highness the private representative of the American President Parak Obama in the Islamic Conference Organization, and the deputy of one of his counselors Rashad Hussein and the accompanying delegate. Both parties exchanged friendly talks, and discussed means of mutual cooperation in the scientific and cultural fields and developing communication, in addition to some other topics related to the academic side. the meeting was held in attendance of the university deputies.
At the beginning of the meeting, his highness the manager of Teebah University, Dr. Adnan AlMazro' expressed his happiness with the visit of The American Consul An Sarah Casper and her delegation. Declaring the fruitful cooperation between the Saudi Universities and its American counterparts, especially, The positive cooperation between Teebah university and a number o the American universities, showing the most significant agreements that has been signed between Teebah university and some American Universities lately in various scientific fields and specializations, and exchanging the expertise and experiments affirming the university keenness in enhancing this fruitful communication and cooperation.
His highness presented a brief summary to the guests about the most significant facilities and branches in Teebah University, in addition to completing all the facilities of the university city and establishing a complete medical city that includes the university hospital, health faculties and other facilities during the coming period.
The American Consul expressed her overwhelming happiness of this visit, and her feeling of spirituality by being in Medina. She affirmed her keenness in enhancing the positive cooperation between both sides. During the meeting, the parties discussed the exchange of students and teaching staff between the Saudi University and the American universities.
At the end of the meeting, they exchanged souvenirs.
During the visit, a meeting was held between her highness the American Consul and her delegation with the university deputies to discuss cooperation aspects between both parties in different scientific and research fields.
Her highness the US Consul visited the male students department of the university in Jeddah, and she was received and welcomed by the dean of the university studies for female students Dr. Inas Taha, with a number of female deans and employees in the university. She has seen the colleges and the scientific departments in the female students section and the student services it offers.
The delegation has visited both faculty of dentistry and faculty of Medicine and reviewed the educational programs they offer, in addition to the up to date equipments and labs that contribute in developing education in both fields of medicine and dentistry. It also listened to a detailed explanation about the faculty of medicine and its departments and specializations presented by the Faculty Dean Dr. Abdel-Qader Ben Reda Alam. It listened as well to a similar explanation in the faculty o dentistry presented by the faculty dean Dr. Walid Reda Morshed
