Today, His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr.Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa sponsored the inauguration of the preparatory meetings of the male and female students of the university contributing in the fourth scientific of the male and female students of Higher Education.
In the inauguration ceremony organized by the students, His Excellency the Rector of University stated: I feel happy in each occasion containing student activities and students. When you see the aspiring students, their notions and honorable accomplishments, you feel proud and blissful. This is a beauteous attendance by the elite of those male and female youth who surprised me last year with the commencement of taking over the leadership of the university when they harvested two golden Quills in the third conference held in the Eastern Province. Hence, their feeling of responsibility and their appreciation of the place and prestige they enjoy is the best catalyst to attain success.
During the ceremony, the Dean of Students Affairs in Taibah University Dr.Saleh Al Harby delivered a speech in which he stated that 519 male and female students from Taibah University contribute in the preparatory meeting organized by the university for its students, and this is in all the axes of the conference including the axis of human and social sciences under which all human and social science fall such as Shari’a sciences, Islamic culture, arts, Arabic language, sciences of administration and cognitive economy, and social sciences. The axis of basic and engineering sciences includes all the abstract science and the fields of engineering, computer, biotechnology, and agriculture, and the other specialties falling under this field, and the axis of health sciences including all specialties relevant to Man’s health and helping health sector such as: the different branches of medicine, pharmacy, applied medical sciences, nursing, and the other medical specialties falling under this field and the activities accompanying the conference including the innovations, patents, entrepreneurship projects, documentary movies, artistic contests, serving society, and elocution. Dr. Al Harby thanked the Deputies of University, Deans of Faculties, and Departments’ Head and the committees working in the preparatory meeting.
Then, the student Ahmad Al Omry delivered the speech of contributing male and female students of university. Hence, he referred to the importance of youth in building-up the nation and their role in changing our countries into a pioneer of science and industry through acquiring beneficial knowledge and skills, stressing the keenness of the male and female students contributing in the fourth scientific conference in the Good Taibah University and said: In the quiver of each of us, there are aspirations and plans for our future and the future of our country and endeared nation. Our attendance and contribution is noting but an embodiment of these wishes and orientations under the unlimited subsistence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz(May Allah Save Him) and by the blessed efforts of Taibah University headed by His Excellency Dr.Adnan Al Mazrooa, and it is nothing but a motivation for us to take over what is aspired to be done by us towards our nation. This conference is a challenge for us to highlight what we own of knowledge to employ it by outputs returning benefit for us and to be availed with opportunities to expand our experiences and acquaintances by meeting of those who are more knowledgeable and learning from them, and yesterday was the first of such opportunities and we are looking forward to what will come.
During the ceremony, the female student Rowan Turkestani, the winner of the golden Quill in the third scientific conference held last year, talked about her experience in the contribution and the significance of insistence and persistence to achieve success.
In the presence of the Deputies of University, His Excellency the Rector of the University, at the outset of the meeting, inaugurated the accompanying fair and listened to an illustration by the contributing students on the nature of their contributions and the ideas they provided. The ceremony was transmitted via closed television circuits in the female students section.
Hence, the actions of the preparatory meeting continues till next Tuesday amid competition, diversity, and richness in the contributions of female and male students which exceeded five hundreds contributions where 92 male and female students participated in the main and engineering sciences, and 123 male and female students in the axis of human and social sciences,27 male and female students took part in the axis of health sciences, and 277 male and female students participated in the axis of accompanying events.
