The promising researches center in the information technology researches for the service of Holy Qur’an and its sciences in Taibah University “ Nur” is to complete 12 published researches and registering from three to five patents during a year.38 researchers and 34 assistant researchers from a number of Saudi universities will complete the projects that received support of the Center which held the second meeting of research projects in the university development hall in the circular building, and women will be in the university development hall in As Salam hall.
The Center Manager Dr.Abdullah Al Bin Ali said that the meeting aimed at reviewing the progress reports of research projects supported by the Center and discussing the methods of sustaining these projects. The scientific program of the meeting started by reciting verses of the Holy Qur’an, then a speech delivered by the  Researches Projects Manager in the Center Dr. Ammar Arabawy, then the speech of the Center Manager. The meeting program included scientific sessions in three of which projects presentations were provided and each presentation lasted for 15 minutes as a project presentation and 5 minutes as an open discussion. The meeting concluded by the fourth session which was an open discussion session.
Dr. Al Bin Ali expressed his thanks to His Excellency the Rector of University Dr. Adnan Al Mazrooa and His Excellency the University Vice-President of Higher Studies and Scientific Research Prof.Dr. Yasser Abu Leilah and for all those who contributed in preparing for the meeting from the Center and for all those who took part in providing support thereto including the concerned bodies in the university and male and female researchers  who participated in the meeting and presented their projects.
It is worth mentioning that the Information Technology Center for the Service of the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences in Taibah University conducts researches and studies relevant to employing information technology in Qiraat ( recitation methods of Holy Qur’an) and developing the methods of teaching the Holy Qur’an and its sciences using e-learning in schools and universities and memorization Rings including programs serving those with special needs and children directed programs (early education, in addition to developing the Holy Qur’an and its sciences online. As well, the programs directed to distinguish and identify the lines of Holy Qur’an and discovering the printing errors, providing scientific consultations in the field of the center work for the two private and public sectors, developing a clear scientific methodology to issue a list of standards and measurements combining the two legitimate and technical sides to be followed – up in the products related to employing information technology in the field of Holy Qur’an.
