His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa received in his office today morning Monday 14/4/1434 A.H. the Rector of the Turkish Fatih University Prof. Şerif Ali Tekalan and his accompanying delegation in the framework of cooperation between the two sides in a number of fields where they exchanges cordial talks and discussing the means of strengthening joint cooperation in the scientific and cultural fields and developing communication horizons and some subjects related to academic and research aspects.
At the outset of the meeting attended by the University Vice- Presidents, His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University expressed his pleasure by the visit of the Rector of the Turkish Fatih University and his accompanying delegation, noting the fruitful cooperation among Saudi Universities and its Turkish counterparts and that Taibah University seeks to sign more cooperation and understanding memoranda and services contracts with a number of international university to develop its faculties, deanships, and systems in a way commensurate with the Kingdom’s higher education systems and policies.
Also, His Excellency Dr. Al Mazrooa concisely briefed the guests on the most prominent of what Taibah University includes of facilities and branches, in addition to its quest to complete all the facilities of the university city and establishing an integral medical city comprehending the university hospital, health faculty, and other faculties during the next period. His Excellency stressed the enlargement of the university in these agreements reflecting the achievement of the university’s goals and its future aspirations in several scientific areas and specialties for serving the research and scientific aspects and exchanging expertise and experiences .
On his side, the Rector of the Turkish Fatih University Prof. Şerif Ali Tekalan eulogized the strong liaisons between the government and people of the Kingdom and the government and people of Turkey which ostensibly appears in the cooperation existing between the two countries in a number of sectors including the higher education sector. Prof. Şerif indicated that Taibah University witnesses a considerable development , particularly in the academic field through its organization of several scientific conferences and symposia, in addition to its participation in miscellaneous international conferences and its research achievements. As well, the attainments of its scholarship students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Turkish Fatih University expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University for the warm reception and hospitality generosity and his care to attain joint cooperation between the two sides where they exchanged souvenirs on this occasion
