His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University today Tuesday 23/4/1434 A. H. inaugurated , at his office at the University, the development of the forum of Taibah University. Hence, During the inauguration, the Dean of Information Technology in Taibah University Dr. Saad Bin Talal Al Harby presented a detailed explanation on developing the programming, technical, and creative aspects, pointing out that the forum development phases underwent several phases where the beginning was by studying the current forum design, calculating the requisite and deficient elements, conducting a manual drawing planning on paper of the initial design shape, installing the design in the forum in the form of templates, conducting the necessary changes thereto so that the work will be uploaded to the University forum and to be ultimately tested on the real environment, and carrying out the necessary adjustments. The forum provides several options including the addition of news and updates to the forum to link the visitors to the main site.
As well, Dr. Al Harby clarified that that the forum has been linked to the news of the University site and availing the verification to the visitors of the forum that the forum is free from any viruses or bugs. Also, the templates related to the contributions have been developed, programming has been added to disseminate the contributions on the social sites, and the inclusion of the famous Tapatalk program in the site to browse the forums with its diverse types on the different smart and table devices. Besides, the forum adds banners for the public announcements of Taibah University and banners for the e- services to facilitate the visitor access, and banners destined for the activities of the forum such as contests, tournaments, and others. Dr. Al Harby expressed his thanks to the forum designer Engineer Wael Muhammad Al Ghamdy and the programmer Engineer Turkey Bin Hemdan Al Awfy and the teamwork which contributed in the completion of the novel development in a standard time.
On his side, His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa thanked the employees of the Information Technology Deanship for their efforts in developing the forum. During the inauguration, the His Excellency urged all the affiliates of Taibah University of Faculty Members, employees, male and female students to take advantage of the merits provided by the site and support the possibility of communicating with students in all what is associated to the educational and service aspects, supplicating to Allah Almighty that this work will constitute an effective service for the University employees, ensuring the keenness of the University administration to strengthen its march in transformation to the electronic community and the distinct application of e- transaction in all its transactions to save time and effort.
