Launching the Events of the International Conference “ Geography and International Contemporary Changes” on Next Monday

Launching the Events of the International Conference “ Geography and International Contemporary Changes” on Next MondayUnder the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education Dr.Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Anqari, on next Monday, the events of the conference ( Geography and International Contemporary Changes) will be launched in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah : Capital of Islamic Culture for 2013 A.D. The events of the conference will continue for four day with the contribution of a group of scientists and researchers in the fields and sciences of geography, and climate, natural, and human changes from several countries.
His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa thanked His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Anqari for sponsoring the conference ,welcoming the guest of the conference  of researchers, contributors, and those who are interested, wishing their efforts to be encrowned by success. His Excellency stated that  convening of this conference comes to keep up with the contemporary scientific changes in the Geography science and relevant climatic changes, pinpointing that these changes to be coped through harnessing modern technology in the sciences of Computer, Statistics, Land or Air  Surveying, Aerospace , and the emergence of GIS and the Global Positioning System, so Geography tends to applied aspects after it reduced its traditional means in transferring knowledge and dealing therewith. The performance of researchers has developed after joining research teams including miscellaneous specialties with the aim of serving community and developing it in this direction. His Excellency Dr.Al Mazrooa added that scientific conferences represent a significant axis of the axes which the university is concerned with and deemed as scientific events participating in motivating the youth and developing scientific research. The universities and scientific centers all over the world are concerned with holding them in belief of its significance  in enriching scientific research , advancing it , and consolidating the scientific liaisons among specialists, exchanging experiences, and keeping pace with the updates. From this point, Taibah University is concerned with convening scientific conferences from the diverse specialties and scientific fields. The conference of Geography and International Contemporary Changes comes as one of the most prominent conferences organized by the University, hence, more than one hundred researchers and participants contribute therein from eighteen country.
On his side, the chairman of the  conference’s organizing committee Dr. Sulaiman Al Rahely said the first day of the conference will be launched with  the opening ceremony under the auspices of His Excellency the  Minister of Higher Education, then, the first dialogue session will be held entitled the Vision of the International Geographic Association to the international geographic changes , and two sessions; the first tackles the geographic thought and development, and the second deals with the earth changes and risks. As well, the second dialogue session , tackling the civilized and population changes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , will be held.
He added the conference’s second day witnesses holding the third scientific session entitled the Geographic Changes in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Region, and the fourth session entitled the Economic Changes, and at the fifth scientific session, the researchers will discuss “ The Demographic Changes”. The conference’s second day concludes by holding the third geographic dialogue entitled ( Geography and Cultural Changes), and on the conference’s third day, the sixth scientific session  will be held to discuss the political and social changes, and in the seventh scientific session, the climatic changes will be discussed, and in the eighth session, the subject of geographic changes in Mecca will be raised. The conference’s third day will be concluded by holding an evening lecture entitled ( Climatic Changes and its Cosmic Implications in the Holy Qur’an and Prophet’s Sunna) to be delivered by Dr. Zaghloul Ragheb Al Naggar.
Professor Dr. Sulaiman Al Rahely outlined that on the conference’s fourth day, the fourth geographic dialogue session will be held under the modern directions in the contemporary geographic studies , while the scientific sessions continues by holding the ninth scientific session on Environmental Changes. The axis of planning and development will be raised in the tenth scientific session , and the conference concludes by the declaration of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah of the contemporary geographic changes.
