Taibah University in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah participates in the eighth cultural and scientific week of the university and higher education institutes in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council hosted by Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University at the period from 25-29/5/1434 A.H., corresponding 6-10/4/2013 A.D.
His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa affirmed that the contribution of the University comes to attain the goals of this week represented in consolidating the brotherly relations between the Council’s students and deepening the bonds of cordiality and amity among them, originating the Arab and Islamic education, and orientation towards adherence to the Arab and Islamic behavior. As well, it aims at getting the students familiarized with the heritage of Gulf countries and features of growth and advancement. Aslo,the contributing in forming and polishing the students’ personalities and developing their talents and capabilities, and encouraging them to the cultural youth knowledge and purposeful scientific research.
On his side, Dr. Saleh Al Harby, the Dean of Students Affairs said that Taibah University will contribute in this event by (23) students, and the University seeks, through its participation, to attain advanced ranks in the competitions to be held among universities, pinpointing that Taibah University seeks to consolidate the cultural, scientific, and cognitive aspects for its female and students qualifying it to take part in all the local, regional, and international forums.
Dr. Al Harby added that this contribution comes in the framework of the care and attention taken by the administration of Taibah University for its creative and excelled students in the diverse scientific fields, and for its keenness to participate in this annual cultural phenomenon which highlights the extent of the care and attention of our rightly guided leadership- may Allah save it- for culture and science , deepens the glorious scientific history, and originates our national cultural inheritance with all its aspects and the attempt of keep and maintain it to be present for the coming generations.
