Under the auspices of His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Taibah University organizes its first scientific meeting entitled “ Modern Orientations in Pharmaceutical Sciences” on Saturday and Sunday 3-4 Jumada II 1434 A.H. at Taibah Hall at Meridian Hotel in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah which is the first of its kind at the level of Al Madinah Region.His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University outlined that holding this scientific meeting comes to keep pace with the modern scientific changes in Pharmacy sciences and seeking to attain cooperation and scientific partnership among specialized sectors, scientific research centers and researchers to exchange experiences, pointing to the importance of the meeting in highlighting the latest findings in Pharmacy field provided by specialized experts in the field of scientific and academic research and pharmaceutical industries.The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Taibah University, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the meeting Prof. Dr. Ismail Bin Muhammad Neazy pinpointed that the meeting aims at informing the specialists in the Pharmacy field of the recent orientations in this field in which a galaxy of distinctive scientists in the modern pharmaceutical and medical sciences will contribute to give 21 lectures in the up-to-date pharmaceutical fields with an average of 16 certified training hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The attendees include nearly 400 persons concerned with the pharmaceutical sciences field. The meeting comprehends four main axes including the usage of modern Nanotechnology in pharmaceutical applications and modern clinical pharmacy, and developing modernistic pharmaceutical compounds to treat diseases and the latest methods in delivering medicine.Dr. Neazy Clarified that an elite of scientists lecture in the meeting including Prof.Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the manager of Laser Institute in the American Georgia University for Technology and the holder of the American National Sciences Order which is regarded as the highest American Order in sciences for his achievements in the field of Nanotechnology and his application of this technology using minute gold compounds in treating cancer, and he is one of the best ten chemistry sciences in the world, and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al Saraa, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, and a number of specialists in the field of Pharmacy.
