Taibah University completed its preparedness to participate in the Fourth International Fair and Conference held under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud ( May Allah Save Him) and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education during the period 6-9 Jumada II. His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa said that the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud ( May Allah Save Him) for the Fourth International Fair and Conference of Higher Education represents His care – May Allah Save Him- for supporting and developing the institutions of higher education in the Kingdom according to an integral comprehensive vision aiming at creating excellence, creativity, and attaining leadership in cognitive economy, and affirms the heed for the higher education sector, urging the University to be keen on excellence in participation to attain this heed and generous support from Him, May Allah support Him.
His Excellency corroborated that the fair in its fourth session comes in the aftermath of successes it achieved in its three previous sessions- due to the follow-up and concern of His Excellency of the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Anqari – and to enhance and develop this success through unifying the efforts of the Saudi higher education institutions in taking advantage of international experiences and supporting the orientation of Saudi Universities towards holding real twinning and partnership programs with the internationally distinct universities to continue developing higher education in the Kingdom, transferring the successful experiences and programs thereto, activating the scholarship programs including enabling the Kingdom’ sons to select the sound and appropriate destination thereto in higher education, upgrading its effectiveness, improving its outputs, and leading the Saudi Universities towards international attitudes and goals, including enabling the higher education institutions and its Faculty Members therein to take advantage of these programs.
On his side, the University’s commissioned Vice-Rector ,the Deputy Chairman of the Sanding Committee of general supervision and preparation for the contribution of the university in the fair Prof. Dr. Mahrous Bin Ahmed Ghaban pinpointed that the university contribution this year comes in the aftermath of success attained by the university last participation where the university ’s suite received large turnout by visitors, in addition to concluding a group of academic cooperation agreements signed between the Rector of University and international institutes.
Prof. Dr. Ghaban indicated that this participation is regarded as a good opportunity to identify the university, faculties, departments, and its provided programs and events, and giving an integral image of the university, and exerted efforts to upgrade it to the level of advanced international universities. As well, it gives the university an opportunity to indentify several international universities, contacting them, and signing services contracts and understanding memorandum therewith, outlining that the university participation of this year includes numerous events, programs, and activities, largely relying on utilizing the most up-to date technology means.
