Preparatory Meetings to Frame Cooperation between Taibah University and Saudi Credit and Saving Bank, and the National Entrepreneurship Institute “Riyada”
Taibah University Vice- Rector for Business and Cognitive Creativity Dr. Saudi Bin Abdul Kader Taher met the General Manager of the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Aziz Al Heneishal and the Deputy Executive Chairman of  the National Entrepreneurship Institute “Riyada” to discuss cooperation fields and joint efforts and mechanism of how Taibah University can take advantage of the programs and projects of the bank and institute, ensuring the existence of a wide joint work area, and that the students of Taibah University fall under the target categories of the Bank and Institute’ s services. For the effective contribution in the efforts of the economic and social development by providing the technical, administrative, and financial support for the country’s sons and qualifying them for the labor market. Dr. Taher affirmed that this step comes as believed by  Taibah University and as directed by His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa regarding the importance of cooperation with both the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank and the National Entrepreneurship Institute “Riyada” to build up and deepen the self-employment culture and developing the University  male and female students’ skills to create consecutive generations of male and female entrepreneurs capable of founding and managing small and medium projects successfully.
Dr. Taher outlined that Taibah University hopes that the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank will contribute in financing the leading students projects in the framework of the efforts exerted by the Bank to support creative ideas and finance small leading projects supporting the initiatives of excellence and invention by the University students, in addition to the keenness of Taibah University to make use of the Graduate Program launched by the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank to absorb the qualified graduates of the University  for self-employment and sustaining them to found small projects compatible with their tendencies and capabilities.
Dr. Taher pinpoints that the joint cooperation fields  between Taibah University and National Entrepreneurship Institute include the process of discovering the pioneering features of the University  male and female students through interviews and tests to ensure the compatibility of their features and capabilities with the provided leading projects ideas requirements, then implementing a package of programs and training courses including the course “ Specify your Project’s Idea”, “ Self- Development”, and “ Try Self-Employment Work” program . In completion of the understandings between Taibah University and “ Riyadah” Institute, a meeting has been held between Riyadah branch in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah and Entrepreneurship Center at Taibah University and agreeing to a group of joint events including holding the course “ Specify your Project’s Idea”, “ Self- Development” by the Institute for the University male and female students, in addition to meetings to identify the Institute’s activities and services, and providing the Entrepreneurship Center with a number of entrepreneurs to participate in the programs conducted by the Entrepreneurship Center at the University and contribute in the Employment Festival events and Profession Day at the University.
Dr. Taher added that the University’s concern and welcome has been ensured to establish an office for the Entrepreneurship Center inside the University campus at Taibah University to enable the Institute to achieve its message with the University male and female students.
