The Faculty of Arts at Taibah University Holds a Workshop Entitled “Harmony of the Faculty of Arts’ Outputs with the Labor Market Needs”

The Faculty of Arts at Taibah University Holds a Workshop Entitled “Harmony of the  Faculty of Arts’ Outputs with the Labor Market Needs”
 
Under the auspices of His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities held today morning Saturday 8 Jumada II 1434 A. H. a workshop entitled “Harmony of the Outputs of the  Faculty of Arts with the Labor Market Needs” managed by the Dean of the Community College at Al Ula Governorate Dr. Hassan Bin Murshid Al Zubyani where the workshop started with a speech by His Excellency the University Rector Dr. Adnan Al Mazrooa, stressing that the universities students education process should not be confined to teaching them information, but they have to be taught skills, so we have to be concerned with Taibah University’s students as they are the University’s product and we have to make the University’s outputs compatible with the requirements and needs of labor market including the outputs of the Faculty of Arts.
Then, His Excellency the Rector of University opened the discussion for the ideal mechanism to manage the workshop through providing proposals, varying with the sessions multiplicity, in addition to allocating a session for students and listening to their proposals, in addition to a proposal suggested by one of the attendees to host a number of related governmental bodies in one the workshop sessions and their participation in development process. In the aftermath of  listening to proposals, His Excellency Dr. Adnan Al Mazrooa blessed all provided proposals and to be implemented.
Subsequently, the workshop’s first session started where the participating Faculty Members were divided into groups, and the first day’s axes were distributed to them to be discussed and coming up with a group of recommendations in the submitted axes, provided all recommendations will be reviewed in the workshop’s last session. The session witnessed the contribution of all Faculty Members from all the Departments of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
