Under the auspices of His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr.Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa and within the University’s activities on the occasion of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah: Capital of Islamic
Culture 2013,the events of the Country’s Eyes Program at the Educational Services Deanship at Taibah University in the presence of the University Vice-Rectors, Deans, Faculty Members, executives, and students at the Deanship.
At the beginning of events, His Excellency of University toured the Deanship’s corridors through which He was familiar with the students’ achievements and innovations in the diverse activities including knowledge market, search is life, share success with me, and modern strategies in teaching art, our university is our loyalty, my university, here I am, How can I develop my ideas, my role and yours, writing skills in English, teaching revolving around student, dialogue morals and contact arts, new electronic information, time management using computer, and other activities numbering thirty five activities at the Deanship’s corridors. The students club at the Deanship and Talent Committee had distinct presence in what they offered. As well, His Excellency inaugurated the Deanship’s new restaurant.
Then, His Excellency and His Companions headed for the Deanship’s theatre where the oratorical ceremony started with fragrant verses of the Holy Qur’an. Then, the Educational Services Dean Dr. Waleed Al Omary delivered a speech, welcoming the honorable guests and reviewed the Deanship’s achievements completed during the year including the equipments of buildings to secure an appropriate environment for education. Also, he deliberated over the novel teaching mechanisms using the learning process and learning through exposing the students to the subject through projectors and discussion between students and teacher which is directed to educational process. He pinpointed that the Deanship embarks on developing the curricula in the preparatory year, then, he reviewed the future plan which Deanship intends to implement so that the student will be proficient and equipped with skills enabling him continue his academic study with full professionalism and excellence.
Besides, the Dean of Educational Services pointed out that the Country’s Eyes program aims at developing and deepening the students’ innovation spirit and reinforcing affiliation to the University in particular and to the country, making the student in permanent contact with his faculty and university.
Then, the ceremony items continued where the student Abdul Aziz Al Radady read a poem on the occasion, then the operetta whose words, composition, distribution, and direction were by the students themselves.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency the Rector of University delivered a thanking speech through which He thanked the Educational Services Dean, Affiliates of Deanship and students for what they offered of innovations and achievements, pointing out the importance of these activities in reinforcing the educational process and growing and developing the innovations and talents of students, stressing the keenness of University to support and develop such activities.
The Dean, students, and all employees of the Educational Services Deanship expressed their thanks and gratitude for His Excellency the Rector for His participation and encouraging His sons of students.
