His Excellency Rector of Taibah University Launches the Site of Saudi Scientific Society for Talent and Creativity
His Excellency Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa launched the website of the Saudi Scientific Society of Talent and Creativity yesterday evening Tuesday 26/6/1434 A.H., declaring the start of a new phase for the Society on its website which includes several news, activities, and events conducted by the Society, in addition to reviewing the goals of the Society and subscription applications of the membership of the Society where this came within the meeting events held by the Society at the Lectures Hall at Taibah University including a lecture by Dr. Osama Bin Hassan Maageny, the Professor of Scientific Excellence and Knowledge at King Abdul Aziz University and one of the symbols of revealing talents in the Arab world.
The meeting has begun with fragrant Verses of the Holy Qur’an recited by one of the young talented children whose Tajweed and recitation received the admiration of attendees. Then,the Chairman of the Saudi Scientific Society of Talent and Creativity Dr. Bahjat Bin Mahmoud Geneid ,stating that the Kingdom has a leading role in the field of sponsoring the talented and creative people in spite of the elapsed few years since the foundation of specialized Societies and activating its role in the field of sponsoring the talented in community and founding Societies sponsoring the talent and creativity which was a dream overwhelming those who are concerned and specialists. The dream comes true first on Prophethood land in the Good Taibah when Taibah University adopted the notion of establishing the Saudi Scientific Society of Talent and Creativity after the issuance of the resolution of the University’s Board of Directors in 1492 A.H. to establish the Society to be the first and only one at the level of the Kingdom to be concerned with the issues of talented and creative people.
Dr. Bahjat concluded his speech by expressing his thanks and appreciation for His Excellency Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Al Mazrooa for his attention and care for this first scientific meeting of talented and implemented by the Society in the presence of an elite of specialists and those concerned in the field of sponsoring the talented.
Subsequently, the events of the scientific meeting started with a lecture entitled the Creative People their Reality.. and Ambitions of their Sponsorship by Dr. Osama Bin Hassan Maageny, the Professor of Scientific Excellence and Knowledge at King Abdul Aziz University through which he identified the creative personality and to be summed up in the fact that the talented is the one who has abnormal preparedness or capability or more distinctive performance than his peers in one field or more fields which are appreciated by the society, particularly in fields of intellectual excellence, creative thinking, skills, and special capabilities. Maageny outlined that the talented or creative person is the one who provides new information and notions for communities in a renewed or semi-daily way to help in the development and production processes such as the leaders in the international technology companies. Maageny invited the civil community institutions and governmental authorities to adopt such ideas and talents to develop and take advantage of them to influence in the social, cultural, and professional dimensions, quoting the role of influencing persons in societies by several personage ,notably the Messenger of Allah(PBUH) who influenced humanity after being sent by Allah Almighty as a merciful messenger for people, realizing (PBUH)a quantum leap in the humanity balances, and Maageny indicated through his lecture to the Saudi excellent students in the international arenas in the diverse international contests to compete for first levels. Maageny called for activating the role of the two Ministries of Education and Higher Education and societal institutions in adopting the talented and creative persons in the diverse fields and providing support to take advantage of the dimensions of the talented personality, stressing the importance of documenting the enlightening march to sponsor the talented in the Kingdom.
Subsequently, the opened discussion period lasting for 15 minutes included several queries posed by the attendees and interventions including proposing ideas and discussions for the mechanisms of adopting the creative and talented persons and the method of taking advantage of their ideas and employing them in a way helping in the renaissance of community.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Rector of Taibah University Dr. Al Mazrooa honored the contributing authorities in holding the First Scientific Meeting of Talented and Creative Persons. Also, His Excellency received the a shield from the Chairman of the Saudi Scientific Society of Talents and Creativity Dr . Bahjat Geneid in appreciation of His sponsorship and support for the Society.
