His Excellency Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa revealed the University's good offices to open academic branches for some of the University's Faculties providing Bachelor degree in the Governorate of Madh Adh Dhabah, provided the specialties under which these branches are listed will be selected based on standards notably the need of labor market in the government of Madh Adh Dahab, in addition to the provision of academic cadre which is capable of teaching these specialties, provided the standards completion will be specified by the Faculty's Dean in coordination with the concerned authorities. While His Excellency pointed out that the branches of complete standards will actually start with the beginning of the coming academic year. While the specialties branches and the academic cadre is not available to teach , His Excellency stated that the University will work strongly to provide the cadre so that the branches will actually start in receiving students the year after the coming one.
This was through the visit of His Excellency yesterday Sunday 9/7/1434 A.H. for the Community College at Al Mahd Governorate and a number of the relevant governmental Departments at the Governorate of Mahd Adh Dhahab. Also, His Excellency outlined through the visit that the inauguration of new Faculties or new branches for the universities or changing the Community Colleges into University Faculties providing the Bachelor Degree which is a resolution to be issued by the High Education Council based on several standards and it is not a resolution to be issued by virtue of the University administration, stressing for the people, male and female students of Mahd Adh Dhahab the attention and care of the attention of the University is by the recommendation of His Royal Highness Faisal Bin Salman, the Prince of Al Madinah Al Munwwarah Region in establishing a branch of Taibah University at the Governorate of Mahd Adh Dhahab and the recommendation of the former University Rector Dr. Mansour Al Nozhah in transforming the Community Colleges into University Faculties including the Community College at Mahd Adh Dhahab, indicating that the two applications have been submitted to the Higher Council, stressing that the provision of an integral academic environment at Madh Adh Dhahab Governorate is one of his most prominent priorities.
The visit of His Excellency has started by the male students section at the Community College where the Faculty Dean Dr. Marai Al Beshy provided a visual presentation clarifying the Faculty's Departments and its possibilities, in addition to statistical details on the Faculty's male and female students and its academic cadres. Also, he presented a concise illustration on the academic and social services by the Faculty to the Governorate. Then, His Excellency met with the students of the Faculty and listened to their needs and answered their questions. He said to students that we are proud of the existence of the Community College in Mahd Adh Dhahab Government and I seriously work to realize your desires, and a plot of hand has been nominated by the Secretariat of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah for the Faculty to build the new headquarter to the current headquarter, in addition to some academic buildings for the University. However, the procedures have not been completed yet, noting that the plot of land nominated by the Secretariat in an approximate area equaling 2 millions meters and upon its receipt, we will submit its budget to for the Higher Education to be approved. But I promise you to open the branches for the specialties whose academic cadre is provided with the beginning of the coming year. Afterwards, His Excellency met the Faculty Members at the Faculty where He discussed the situation of the Departments at the Faculty and a group of administrative procedures.
Subsequently, His Excellency visited the police of Mahd Adh Dhahab where His Excellency the Police Station and roamed in the Departments of the Station where the police manager of Madh Adh Dhahab Lieutenant Saleh Al Baraky reviewed the high potentials and distinctive efficiencies owned by the Police of Mahd Adh Dhahab Police. Also, His Excellency visited the Deputy Governor Mr. Abdul Aziz Meshred Al Meteiry. The Governorate's needs have been discussed at the level of Higher Education in the presence of the Education Department Manager at the Governorate of Madh Adh Dhahab Dr. Said Al Gereisy and the Head of Legitimate Courts Sheikh Amr Awad Al Selemy.
Afterwards, His Excellency visited the female students section at the Community College at Mahd Adh Dhahab Governorate where he listened to the needs of the Faculty female students and its administration through the voice communication system, and said I am pleased to meet and listen from you and we will exert our effort to meet your wishes and provide your needs. Through the dialogue, His Excellency approved the expansion of the Faculty restaurant at the female students section. Also, His Excellency ordered to open a kindergarten inside the female students section in case of the availability of a site for this, in addition to taking some immediate resolutions by His Excellency which will ameliorate the study environment at the female students sections.
Subsequently, His Excellency visited the Public Mahd Hospital and He was received by The Deputy Manager of the Hospital Mr. Bandar Nayaf. His Excellency said I am so pleased for your considerable cooperation in supporting the academic programs at the University, and His Excellency discussed the possibility of the cooperation of the University with the hospital's cadres in coordination with the General Department of Health Affairs to take advantage of the hospital's cadres in health programs at Al Mahd Faculty by the cooperating system.
Afterwards, His Excellency visited the Education Manager of Madh Adh Dhahab Governorate Dr. Said Al Jereisy at the headquarter of the Education Department in Madh Adh Dhahab Governorate and through the visit, Dr. Al Jereisy reviewed the accomplishments volume of the Education Department and the two parts discussed the integral relation between the two Department.
At the end of the visit of His Excellency for Mahd Adh Dhahab Governorate, His Excellency met a number of the dignitaries and people of Mahd Adhahab Governorate at the Hospitality Hall at Al Mahd Municipality. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of Municipal Council Mr.Zuweiq Al Belheed delivered a speech, saying on behalf of me and the people of Al Mahd, we welcome His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University which is the first governorate in terms of area at the level of Al Madinah Al Munawarah Region and the second in population after Yanbu Governorate. It has 150 villages, then the Deputy Governor Mr. Abdul Aziz Meshred Al Meteiry delivered a speech, saying we thank you for what is provided by Taibah University of educational services for Al Madinah Al Munawwarah in general and Mahd Adh dhahab in particular. Al Mahd has a special importance in its geographic location and its distinctive properties. Later, the Manager of Education Department at Mahd Adh Dhahab Governorate Dr. Said Al Gereisy delivered a speech,saying that the sons and daughters of Al Mahd realized educational achievements and we need the march of their achievements to continue through the distinctive university programs, particulalry with its increasing demand, and Taibah University presented much to the sons of the Governorate ad we aspire for more. Then, His Excellency opened the discussion in the academic axis at the level of the Governorate through which His Excellency outlined that Taibah University will harness all its potentials to provide an academic environment, providing the people of the Governorate with the service of Higher Education.
Before leaving the Governorate, His Excellency the Rector of the University visited the site of the plot of land to be nominated for the University by the Secretariat of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Region.
