The program offers an intensive three-week scientific journey implemented in a stimulating university environment with specialized academic content.
This year’s program at Taibah University is one of the leading national initiatives organized by several universities and educational institutions in the Kingdom. It aims to empower talented students by developing their scientific, research, and innovative skills in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes investing in young minds and enhancing the role of universities in building a knowledge-based society.
In her speech during the introductory meeting, Dr. Walaa bint Abdullah Mo’mena, Program Director, emphasized that the Mawhiba Program at Taibah University embodies an active national partnership dedicated to nurturing talent and creating excellence. She said:
"This program is one of the distinguished initiatives supported by Mawhiba, aiming to develop the skills of promising minds in an advanced scientific environment that combines knowledge and innovation, contributing to preparing an ambitious generation capable of achieving scientific leadership and serving the nation."
She expressed her gratitude to the University President, Vice Presidents, Deans of Supporting Deanships, Deans of Participating Colleges, and the Executive Team for their significant support in ensuring the program’s success, noting that today’s remarkable launch marks the beginning of a rich scientific journey that makes a difference and meets the nation’s aspirations.
On his part, Dr. Faisal bin Khalid Al-Maliki, Scientific Vice President and General Supervisor of the Center for Talent, Creativity, and Excellence at Taibah University, welcomed the talented students and their parents. He highlighted that the program reflects the convergence of national vision with a solid scientific mission:
"Your presence today is the result of genuine excellence and a passion for learning. At Taibah University, we believe in you as a promising national talent, and our role is to pave the way for you to turn these capabilities into achievements that serve and advance the nation."
Al-Maliki also emphasized that the partnership with Mawhiba aligns with Taibah University’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and scientific research. He noted that the Center for Talent and Creativity implements specialized programs such as “Talmadhah”, aimed at refining students’ skills from an early stage and preparing them for national and international scientific competitions.
This year, the program offers a range of specialized academic tracks, including:
Anatomy and Physiology
Medical and Life Sciences
Electrical Engineering
Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
These tracks are conducted under the direct supervision of a distinguished faculty at Taibah University, within a comprehensive learning environment that balances theoretical knowledge with practical application, enhancing students’ research and scientific discovery skills.
Hosting this program at Taibah University is part of a series of initiatives aimed at supporting scientific excellence and nurturing talented students, reinforcing the university’s national role in preparing future competencies and contributing to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of developing human capital and supporting innovation and knowledge pathways.
