This course addresses the study of the concept of heritage in general, and architectural and traditional heritage in particular, along with the environmental characteristics of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the impact of heritage on shaping traditional architecture. It also covers the study of the characteristics and forms of motifs used in traditional architectural heritage across the regions of the Kingdom (Central, Western, and Southern), traditional construction methods in each region, and the relationship between social life and traditional buildings in Saudi Arabia
