This course provides an overview of the history of the Kingdom and the division of its regions, together with an introduction to the concept of traditional dress. It further examines the factors influencing traditional dress and its various styles for both men and women, as well as the accessories associated with it. In addition, the course explores the materials and decorative techniques used in its embellishment and develops students’ practical abilities in the preparation, construction, and illustration of various traditional dress patterns from different regions of the Kingdom.
