DRAPING ON MANNEQUIN I

This course examines the concept of the dress form, its various types, methods of construction, selection criteria, and the tools and materials used in its preparation and draping. It further explores evening wear, its principal characteristics, and its international classification. In addition, the course addresses the different methods of preparing the dress form, padding and fitting the model, and training students to adapt it to their individual body measurements, while also providing practical experience in executing selected basic patterns on the form.
