This course examines the development and characteristics of Arabic and Latin typography and introduces students to the art and principles of type design. It develops practical skills in drawing and constructing letterforms, as well as exploring diverse visual treatments based on contemporary visual concepts. Students apply these skills to the design and development of coherent Arabic and Latin typographic alphabets.
