Course Description
The course of Nuclear Physics is a self-contained program describing breakthroughs in understanding the major phenomena related to the atomic nucleus. It covers the importance of the Rutherford scattering theory in the discovery of the atomic nucleus and the nuclear force. It followed by accessible treatment of nuclear models, nuclear radiation, fission, fusion, nuclear reactions, Q-reaction energy, nuclear decay (Alpha, Beta and Gamma) theories, nuclear detectors, accelerators and concept of nuclear energy.
