Research Interest

My research focuses on the intricate relationship between infection, immunometabolism, and immune cell functionality, encompassing both innate and adaptive immune responses. By examining the metabolic pathways that influence immune cell activation, differentiation, and effector functions, I aim to uncover mechanisms underlying immune dysregulation in infectious diseases. Additionally, I am interested in leveraging this knowledge to develop innovative immunotherapeutic strategies that target metabolic pathways to enhance immune responses or modulate them in pathological conditions. This multidisciplinary approach bridges immunology, metabolism, and therapeutic development, aiming to provide insights into disease pathogenesis and contribute to the advancement of effective treatments for immune-related disorders.
