The University Medical Center is one of the core pillars of the health care system at Taibah University. Strategically located at the heart of the campus, it offers convenient access for all, enhancing its ability to provide comprehensive and integrated healthcare services that meet the diverse needs of university staff, students, and their families. Through its skilled medical and administrative teams and advanced facilities, the center strives to uphold high standards of healthcare quality, in alignment with the university’s vision and commitment to promoting the health and well-being of its community.

The University Medical Center includes a wide range of clinics and supporting departments designed to deliver holistic medical care for all beneficiaries, as follows:

  • General and Specialized Clinics: 18 clinics covering various medical specialties.

  • Emergency Clinics: Located at the Main Women’s Campus, Al-Salam Campus, Yanbu Branch, and Al-Ula Branch.

  • Dental Clinics: 3 clinics (general dentistry and endodontics).

  • Supporting Departments: Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Nursing.

  • Administrative Departments: Quality and Patient Safety, Health Training, Public Health, and Financial & Administrative Affairs.

Eligibility for Treatment

  • University affiliates (employees and faculty members):

    • Saudi nationals: Coverage includes parents, spouse, and children (general consultation, emergency care, and referral to specialized clinics as needed).

    • Non-Saudis: Coverage includes spouse and children under the same conditions.

    • Saudi retirees: Entitled to full medical coverage.

  • Enrolled students (male and female): Entitled to full medical coverage.

  • International students and their dependents: Entitled to full medical coverage.

  • Nursery children: Eligible for medical checkups when needed.

  • Individuals under personal sponsorship (e.g., domestic workers, drivers): Eligible for general medical consultations, emergency care, and referrals when necessary.

  • Students enrolled in paid programs (distance learning, diploma, or master’s programs): Covered for general and emergency cases only.

Excluded from full medical coverage (except in emergencies):

  • Employees of private projects or contractors.

  • Individuals not officially affiliated with the university.

  • University guests: Treated only in emergency situations.

Operating Hours – University Medical Center

  • All medical services: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

  • Specialized clinics: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

  • Emergency services: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
