Ticketing System for Operations and Support (Maximo)
It is a system that helps employees and faculty members submit electronic reports of technical operational malfunctions such as (electrical malfunctions, elevator malfunctions, alarm systems, plumbing, etc.) in administrative buildings, classroom buildings, study halls, and all public facilities at the university to the responsible authority, which is the Operations and Maintenance Department.
Mobile Applications
- Log in using your username (web account) and password.
- From the top right of the page, click the menu icon (three rectangles) and select "Self-Service" > Service Requests > Create a Service Request from the menu.
- The "Create a Service Request" window will open.
- Fill in the contact information fields (phone and extension). Note that fields with a red star are mandatory.
- To select a location, click the arrow next to the location. A menu will appear from which you can select "Open Forward." The "Forward" window will open. Click the search icon next to the location to open the "Choose Value" window. Select the location, then select Department > Building > Floor > until you reach the office.
- Note: If the room is not listed, add a description of the location using additional details (floor + building + office, room, or classroom number).
- Define the request priority by clicking the "Search" icon next to the registered priority and selecting from the list.
- Request Description (to add details about the request): In the Summary box, write a summary of the request, and further explanation and details will be added in the Details box.
- Use the classification field to select the type of service, for example: air conditioning, cleaning, electrical work, etc. Click the arrow next to the classification. The classification window will open. Select the service type from the list.
- You can add images or files by clicking the "Attach Files" button and selecting a file from your computer.
- When you're finished filling out the fields, click "Submit."
